Canucks Complete Comeback Against Oilers
Four Goal Performance Leads Vancouver to Victory
Vancouver, British Columbia --
Brock Boeser scored a career-high four goals as the Vancouver Canucks rallied from a three-goal deficit to beat the Edmonton Oilers 5-4 on Sunday night.
Boeser scored twice in the second period and twice more in the third, including the game-winner with just 2:54 remaining.
The Oilers took a 4-1 lead midway through the second period, but the Canucks chipped away at the lead and eventually tied the game with just over five minutes remaining in the third.
Vancouver goalie Thatcher Demko made 33 saves to earn the win. Edmonton's Stuart Skinner made 27 saves in the loss.
The Canucks are now 5-4-1 on the season and will host the Calgary Flames on Tuesday night. The Oilers are 6-3-1 and will host the Winnipeg Jets on Wednesday night.
