Meet the new team members who are joining ABC 10 News.

ABC 10 News is excited to welcome three new team members to our newsroom. These experienced journalists will bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team, and we're confident that they will make a significant contribution to our coverage of the Sacramento region.

Joining us as a reporter is Emmy Award-winning journalist Emily Smith. Emily comes to ABC 10 News from KOVR in Stockton, where she covered a wide range of stories, including the devastating Camp Fire and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. She's also reported on major news events around the country, including the 2016 presidential election and the 2017 Las Vegas shooting.

Also joining our team is meteorologist Mark Larson. Mark comes to ABC 10 News from WCCO in Minneapolis, where he was the weekend meteorologist. He has over 20 years of experience in television meteorology, and he's a member of the American Meteorological Society. Mark is passionate about weather forecasting, and he's always eager to share his knowledge with viewers.

Rounding out our new team is sports reporter Jason Ross. Jason comes to ABC 10 News from the Sacramento Bee, where he covered the Sacramento Kings and other local sports teams. He's a die-hard sports fan, and he's excited to bring his passion for sports to our viewers.
