Handball-WM in Polen und Schweden: Frankreich holt Gold
Dänen im Finale knapp geschlagen
Bei der Handball-WM in Polen und Schweden hat Frankreich die Goldmedaille gewonnen. Im Finale am Sonntag in Stockholm besiegte das Team von Trainer Guillaume Gille den amtierenden Weltmeister Dänemark mit 33:26 (16:12).
Vierter Titel für Frankreich
Für Frankreich ist es der vierte WM-Titel nach 1995, 2001 und 2009. Die Dänen mussten sich zum zweiten Mal in Folge im Finale geschlagen geben. Dritter wurde Spanien, das im Spiel um Platz drei Schweden mit 39:36 besiegte.
